That's what people said about automobiles themselves in 1903, and yet in 1913, there were almost no horses left. That's the magic of exponential growth — it starts out so deceptively slow... and then all of a sudden, whatever "it" is, is EVERYWHERE.

Industrial animal agriculture is a disaster, full stop. But tell me how the carbon, nutrient and water cycles--all pivotal to climate--can function w/out robust animal communities, particularly in drylands. I'm all ears.
Replying to @JessLReid
at this point, the fewer cows there are on planet Earth, the better off we'll all be. cow advocates who think they are also climate activists don't seem to understand just how skewed beef production currently is toward corporate animal agriculture. don't defend the beef industry!

Headed to Starbucks HQ on Thursday to talk about how AgTech startups and #ReFi could shape the future of coffee and cocoa (driving more inclusive and regenerative systems with and for farmers). HMU / comment if I should be adding your work to my mapping. – at Bogotá, D.C., Colombia
Even though this is essentially geoengineering, it is also biomimicry of sorts, and sounds promising. YesNoMaybe? Probably much more expensive and very difficult to scale, when : to #regenerativeagriculture.

Think any of the applications just included two words: regenerative agriculture (as I suggested ☺️)? His brother @kimbal (and even he) should know better.
