No Sunday fixture this week, this meant we could do our GoFundMe sponsored walk and the lads smashed it. 💛
Still time to donate to help with the ever rising fees of grass roots football.

Agree with all of this, it’s a sorry state of affairs. I wrote this last year and it just feels wrong the way grassroots footy is going in Liverpool and beyond - chatmandu.medium.com/the-hig…

Something has to be done, and there’s enough people/momentum to try and make a change but it’s where to start. The rise of hubs, and affordability, will be the death of grassroots if nothing changes 😌

It’s sad that in a city like ours this is the sentiment shared by most 😢. They should be doing all they can to promote grass roots football in the city at all ages and making it affordable to all

Quick question @lpoolcouncil the footy season has just started and we pay pitch fee’s do you really think these pitches are acceptable for your lads to play on?
The league @BVDJFL work tirelessly for free and we do as volunteer coaches and would expect better

What a day the boys had at the High Level U11 @LFCFoundation competition. Playing top teams like FGS Juve & Muniflex as well as 2 Liverpool PDP teams. They done themselves proud by not only competing but winning the main cup 🏆

Does that mean we get the two hefty fines reduced (£100 each) due to a team withdrawing 2 months before the season starts @_MYFL
Apparently it’s all about children playing football and as mentioned the withdrawal has massive implications on the league but strangely taking more
We have had a lot of late enquiries for U9 & U10s league places due to a local league folding these divisions. We are struggling for pitch space but will do our best to not leave teams without a league. For all enquiries email [email protected]
teams on doesn’t have massive implications 🫣Nothing to do with the money though all about the children playing football 🤔🫶 @Liverpool_CFA @Teamgrassroots_

Summer league Champs. Won league on goal difference of 15 better than 2nd. Well in @FootballPerfor3
Well done to the FPA Belgrade boys taking the Summer league top spot by a big goal difference of 14 goals. Played some great football and scored some great goals as they transition over to 11v11. #playerdevelopment #workhard
