Charted the two exhibitions (small sample size alert) 🐶 Great stuff from the PG 🐶 Caleb and Gabe both solid off bench The rim D wasn’t great and although 0.99 PPP against over 2 games was solid, I didn’t love the shot diet they forced (106 of 120 opp. shots at rim or from 3)

Gabe really was a lovely revelation in the GW game. Rebounded and was a HUGE plus when he got to play off-ball next to Lowe. I don’t know if he feels comfortable initiating things on his own, but consistently made the right reads (and shots) in moments where he received a pass

I’m so pleased by Josiah Parker. Number 2 on my trust meter rn. Does a lot on a basketball court at a high level. This team needs his rebounding, finishing, and ability to create. Such a Cooley fit Played 37 defensive possessions with Vince vs GW, allowing 33 pts (0.89 PPP)

Some things that might be flying under the radar regarding Josiah are passing and basketball IQ are very high on this kid. You can run some offense through him. You saw a glimpse of this at the beginning of the second half after Wake's mini run.

This also isn’t a slight against students or alumni. It’s a 20K capacity arena 20-40 minutes away from campus for a school that (1) only has 7500 undergrads and (2) has an enormous percentage of its alumni base in other cities (primarily NYC) I appreciate anyone trying to go

Think this is fair based on Hoyas’ recent results and the eligibility ?? in the frontcourt. Ceiling is much higher than this if Benson/Vince are good to go But it is going to be a Big East that has more quality 3-10 than it’s had in last two seasons

LFG! So good that Vince finishes a Hoya one way or another Team has a REAL shot to be good if the 5 in 5s are ultimately eligible (Benson and Iwuchukwu) - IM BEGGING! That’s an upper echelon 40 minutes at the 5 with a reasonable chance to share the court together quite a bit

Vince Iwuchukwu will return to Georgetown next season, per his family. Averaged 11.6 PPG and 6.1 RPG last season. Iwuchukwu was recently granted a TRO by the State of the New York for a fifth year of eligibility.

Don’t need to remind the Hoya fans how good and important Vince was last year. Team was a top 20 defense and equivalent to a top 40 team in his minutes. In his final 15 games: 12.8 PPG, 6.5 RPG, +22.7 NetRtg (BEAST)
