China is experiencing the worst heatwave ever recorded in global history.
The combined intensity, duration, scale, and impact of this heatwave is unlike anything humans have ever recorded.
Over 260 locations have seen their hottest days ever during this 70+ day heatwave.
First day as PI @VTFoodScience! Super excited to start my research group on food packaging and other material innovations for food-related applications!
And of course my family for their unwavering support throughout the numerous ups and downs! You all mean the world to me!!
Lastly, I’m currently looking for MS, PhD, and Postdocs. Folks with background in food packaging, processing, #nano engineering, #polymer chemistry, #biomaterials, #enzymes, #ML/AI are especially encouraged to apply (yifancheng@vt.edu)!
