Not all bees are yellow! Solitary bees like the Blue Orchard Mason Bee are far more effective pollinators than honeybees, and less likely to sting humans! Many solitary bees nest in the ground, cracks in bricks and cement foundations (hence mason bees).
#pollinatorweek
It's #PollinatorWeek, and Kansas has some AMAZING pollinators like the Ruby Throated Hummingbird. Show them some love with native flowers.
