Boo! 👻
Folxlore is a finished queer horror audio drama set in Glasgow, Scotland. It's a narrative anthology series of existential horror. We don't bury our gays, but we sure do put them through hell 🖤

Folxlore is a queer horror anthology created by @InTheWorksITW theatre company, of which our @RossDMcFarlane is a founding member.
And a big thank you to @GejWatts and @camlannpod for the shouting us out in their wonderfully queer and horrifically cruel episode this week (very much our brand).
Camlann is a beautiful piece of storytelling – everyone who hasn't already should check it out now!!

Day 11 of #12DaysofPodmas and fans of queer horror NEED to listen to @FolxlorePod 🖤 it's so beautiful!
ALT I love every story in this queer horror anthology! The writing and delivery is so beautifully poetic and it’s so great to hear stories tied so closely to a single location and how that feeds into identity the same way that queerness does. I love how the stories weave together while still being standalone masterpieces!!

New additions to xmtr.fm - the sonic storytelling portal. As it gets colder and darker (on this side of the world anyway) nestle in to audio works by @TinCanAudio, Joan Shumann from @EarlidInfo, @SoundArtHannah and selection of gems from @listentosteve

Last month during pride month we got tattoos together! Celebrating Folxlore, commemorating the 5 years of our lives we spent on it, and putting to skin the queerness of horror and the horrors of being queer. Thank you for listening, now and in the future <3
ALT A collage of four photos, each showing a different person with the same tattoo of a stylised planchette. From top left to bottom right we have Dev on a train in a lovely striped top with the tattoo on their arm, Syd's foot in front of his dog Bucky who looks perturbed, Ross' leg and knee, and Bibi in a cosy jumper with the tattoo on their forearm.
Drawn by the fantastic @serhawke as usual! They’ve done all the art for our show since the pilots, never flinching despite our increasingly ridiculous ideas. This image in particular is from season 1 episode 1, ‘Seance’.

FOLXLORE
Queer people living literally and figuratively between two worlds. The "normal" world that tells us we are not normal; and a very not-normal rift between our world and another plane of nightmarish existence.
