One day or day one. The choice is yours.
The stock market isn’t going anywhere, but time is.

This is exactly the point I was making 2 weeks ago.
I pointed out that bearish positioning had become so extreme that if the narrative changed, the market had the fuel for a powerful short squeeze. $SPY $QQQ
That’s exactly what happened.
The two biggest narrative shifts since then:
• The conversation shifted from a U.S.–Iran war toward the possibility of an agreement, reducing geopolitical risk.
• Microsoft’s $MSFT decision to extend the estimated useful life of its data centers eased concerns around AI infrastructure capex.
The catalyst is almost impossible to predict.
The positioning isn’t.
That’s why I spend so much time analyzing market narratives and institutional positioning, not just price action.
The original post aged well. 👇
The stock market may be setting up the next big move...
But not for the reason most people think.
Bearish positioning has reached extreme levels:
• S&P 500 short interest: 3.7% of free float (near the highest since 2010)
• Russell 3000: 6.1%
• NYSE-listed stocks: 9%
For perspective...
📉 2008 Financial Crisis peak: ~5%
📉 2020 COVID panic peak: ~6%
When I worked at a hedge fund in NYC, market positioning was always part of our macro analysis.
Because the biggest rallies often begin when the crowd is leaning the wrong way.
I'm not predicting a ceasefire or saying the Iran conflict ends tomorrow.
I'm saying this:
IF an unexpected positive catalyst hits while short interest is this elevated, the fuel exists for a powerful short squeeze as bearish positions unwind.
That's exactly what happened after the 2025 tariff pause.
And again after the 2026 Iran ceasefire.
Positioning doesn't tell you what will happen.
It tells you what could happen if the narrative changes.

Leverage can make you rich.
It can also wipe you out.
In this video, I break down the timeline of Leopold’s Situational Awareness hedge fund blowup, how leverage turned a bad situation into a catastrophic one, and the risk management lessons every investor should understand.
The biggest losses rarely come from being wrong.
They come from being unable to survive being wrong.
Risk management isn’t optional. It’s what keeps you in the game.

Retail traders have spent decades trading with less information than professionals.
That gap is finally starting to close.
Our AI analyzed Nasdaq Level 3 market data, detected institutional accumulation at a key $SPY support level and confirmed the long trade before the move.
The goal isn't to blindly follow AI.
It's to give traders institutional-quality insight so they can make better decisions with more confidence.
The screenshot below is from the actual conversation.
This is exactly the kind of edge we've been building at TTG.
