We don’t need new consoles right now, the current hardware is still more than capable. The focus should be on software, features, and bringing the cost down where possible.
Then fix gamepass so it doesn’t cannibalise first party titles.

I’m about 70% through E-Day and wow what a game! I genuinely feel like I’ve been taken back to 2006. You can absolutely capture the nostalgia of the golden 360 era and The Coalition has proven it. More please! (Would love to see the original trilogy get the remake treatment!)
Why does every game company have to go through what feels like a “we’ve had too much good PR lately, let’s rebalance that” phase, like what the actual fuck. They all do it, I don’t get it. Create loads of good will and then “na I’ll show me!” and fuck it all up.

I honestly don’t think we need new consoles just yet. I don’t think power is much of an issue today.
Is The Witcher 3 worth playing today if I completely missed it? Never played a Witcher game, watched the TV show but it was atrocious. Maybe the worst show I’ve ever seen… if I hated the show will I hate the game?
If they reboot Halo I’m no longer investing in any franchises from any Xbox owned studios. Wiping away 25 years of investment would be a huge fuck you to fans. Halo needs to move forward, not backwards, not restarts.
