The politicians calling for higher taxes almost always have donated $$$ to private charities and their foundations over the years (very generous!)
They could choose to donate to public charities instead (federal and state government) but don't?
Why not?
Because Americans understand where money is well spent.
Donations to the government, cumulative since 1843, about $70 million.
Donations to private charities about $10 trillion.
The media doesn't want you to know this, but if you're a guilt-ridden rich guy who thinks the rich should pay more in taxes...you can just send all your money to the government!
Yes, really.
The Bureau of Fiscal Service has a voluntary account since 1843, and you can hand over all your earthly belongings to Uncle Sam if you feel they can do more with your money than you can.
Think we should all pay more taxes? Then you get to go first.
(Scott Kirby is worth ~$100M).

🚨 Die letzten 24 Stunden: Iran stellt eine Öffnung der Straße von Hormus in Aussicht und trotzdem gibt es Black Monday Sorgen Was davon Bitcoin & Krypto hilft und was bremst:
🟢 Eher gut
• Circle will USDC in rund 40 neue Schwellenländer bringen
⚪ Neutral
• Liquidierungen in 24h: 330 Mio.
--> youtube.com/watch?v=gES_rTOu…
🔴 Eher schlecht
• ETF-Woche: BTC-ETFs rund -228 Mio. USD, ETH-ETFs rund -320 Mio. USD
• Neun US-Firmen, u. a.

During the last few months of 2020 and the first few of 2021, it was obvious from the numbers that inflation was about to spike. When it did, the Fed dismissed the rise as transitory. It's happening again. Inflation is about to spike, only this time the rise will be much bigger.

🇫🇷 Frankreich nimmt selbst verwahrte Bitcoin & Krypto-Wallets ins Visier.

Workers are overtaxed and 'double-billed': they pay tax on income, which funds public goods that raise their rent.
The late economist Fred Foldvary said this is a major cause of income inequality and why we should tax land instead of wages.

The US stock market has never been this fragmented:
The 52-week correlation between the equal-weighted S&P 500 and the S&P 500 index is down to 0.67, its lowest level on record.
This measures how closely the performance of the equal-weighted S&P 500 tracks the cap-weighted index, with a lower reading indicating a growing gap between the broader market and mega-cap stocks.
The correlation has declined -0.25 points since August 2025.
By comparison, before the 2020 pandemic, this figure remained between 0.95 and 0.99 for nearly 15 years.
To put this into perspective, during the 2000 Dot-Com Bubble, this metric never declined below 0.85.
The S&P 500 is more concentrated than ever.
