Manchester United draw some relief and perhaps some belief from that. Surely lessens pressure on Carrick. His players showed some fight and more intensity in challenging circumstances. Not often I agree with Carragher but he’s right here. You keep stuff like this behind closed doors and keep a United front in public. This helps no one. Also, Martinez needs to look at himself. His mistakes have cost Utd wins in both our last two PL games. #MUFC #ManUtd

No one is saying the Man United squad doesn’t need to be improved. It does. But the money isn’t there to do it quickly over a couple of windows. That’s on the Glazers, not Wilcox, Berrada or Carrick. If Martinez wants to win more games then maybe don’t get stomped on by Solanke.
