I am stepping away from using this platform regularly for a while. When it's decided what it's trying to be I might return. In the meantime you can keep up with my news and activities via my Facebook page. My Best, Sam facebook.com/BritishVoiceSam…

NOW RECORDING! I have just started narrating The Seducer, the 1st in a series of 5 books by Madeline Hunter. After 6 years of waiting I’m very grateful for the chance to at last work with @TantorAudio. Looking forward to repaying your faith in me! #VoiceActor

NOW ON SALE! My latest #audiobook narration was both eye opening and huge amounts of fun. BLACK OPS AND BEAVER BOMBING is about the state of our wildlife here in the UK. It's fascinating and it's on @audibleuk now! @WFHowes #actorslife #biodiversity audible.co.uk/pd/Black-Ops-a…

NOW RECORDING! Today, I’ve started one of the most special narrations of my career. A MAJOR ADJUSTMENT by @AndyMerriman1 is about his daughter Sarah’s path into adult life. Like my own daughter, Sarah has Down’s syndrome, and the audiobook is being created to support @DSAInfo

It's audiobook release day! A GAME OF DECEIT by Tim Glister is now available on #Audible. I absolutely loved narrating this 1960s spy story and I hope you enjoy listening :-) #audiobooknarrator #britishvoiceactor #wfhowes #voiceover #spythriller audible.co.uk/pd/A-Game-of-D…

It's a beautiful day to start work on my 100th Audiobook narration! I recorded my first title 9 years ago. That book was called TWO TURTLE DOVES. Today I begin book number 3 in a series of children's stories about DAVE PIGEON. It feels like the continuation of a theme somehow...

It's audiobook release day! I am delighted to share with you: DEATH ON THE WALK. This is my 13th collaboration with @profwendy and it's available now on Audible: audible.co.uk/pd/Death-on-th… #audiobooknarrator #characteractor #voiceactor #flyingpickle #performingarts #actorslife

I don't usually worry too much about how many pick-ups I have to do. Obviously, I respect my proofers and try to make their lives easy. But what matters is getting the finished narration right. That said, in 9 years of recording and 93 titles, this has never happened before...

Presumably this was an AI generated email that's offering AI generated voice over services. Sent to an 100% human voice over (and a damn fine one at that!) Maybe they could start employing 100% human office assistants to ensure their marketing doesn't make them look 100% stupid.

I am genuinely thrilled to be able to share that I have done a #voiceover for the new #F1Exhibition! It's opening in Madrid on March 24th. I did the English translation dub for a video all about Enzo Ferrari. If you're in Madrid next month check it out! f1exhibition.com

Half term survived. New audiobook narration prepped. Studio warmed up. See you in 55 pages time. #audiobooks #actorslife #VoiceActors #voiceover #spythriller #wfhowes #audible #pointblank – at Kingston upon Thames, London

Ready for show number 1 😊🎄🤓🎭

It was a great pleasure to be involved with this production. Easily the biggest audiobook cast I've ver been in. What a stellar job Brad did to bring it all together!

This show is ridiculously hard to perform well by yourself. But I'm putting myself through it because I want to help @21andCo and @DSAInfo in the only way I know how. I'm not getting paid either, by the way. All the proceeds go to the charities. langdondowncentre.org.uk/pro…
