Patrick Doyle has signed with Bristol Flyers II for the 2026/27 BCB season. The 6'1 British guard commented
"Grateful to be joining the team and ready to compete, learn and get better."
Patrick is an exciting young player who will take on the challenges of competing with
SGS Academy in the EABL and with us in the BCB this season. He is a strong, assured and capable guard and will deepen our backcourt.

Rylan Bawden has reupped with Bristol Flyers II for the 2026/27 BCB season. The 6'3 British guard commented "Feels great to return with the boys and keep building on from last season."
Having Rylan back with us for another season is a huge positive. He knows the Flyers system
inside an out as an SGS Academy and junior program graduate. He gives us depth at the guard position and experience and continuity within our group.

Nikos Sagkovits has signed for Bristol Flyers 2 for the upcoming BCB 2026/2027 season. The 6'7 Greek forward commented "Excited to be part of the Flyers family for another year. I believe this season we'll be able to achieve a lot!"
Nikos has been a welcome addition to
Bristol basketball throughout his time studying with our sponsors at UWE. His physicality, screening and ability to run the floor anchor our defence and offence.

Shae Linton Brown has signed for Bristol Flyers 2. The 6'1 British Canadian guard commented "Thrilled for the opportunity and the fresh start. The guys have been great so far, and I’m ready to do whatever it takes to help us win. Let's make it a special season."
Our player of the game from our season opener against Bristol Hurricanes was Callum Smart. The 6'10 centre went perfect from the field including a trio of three pointers and two free throws on his return to Bristol Flyers 2. The big man added 2 rebounds and 1 assist.
Bristol Flyers II lose 104-72 to Bristol Hurricanes in the opening game of our BCB trophy group stage.
We are back in action next week with our first home game of the season.

Nojus Zajankauskas signs up for double duty for Bristol Flyers competing with both the first team and Bristol Flyers II in the BCB.
The 6'4 guard is a British Lithuanian dual national who will split his time between the first and second team as he continues his development.
We are not certain he will be available to us in the BCB for very long as he is already excelling and may well need to focus on the SLB and ENBL campaigns for the club.
Catch him in the BCB while you still can!
Taiwo Badmus joins Bristol Flyers Il for the 2026/27 BCB season having most recently played at Hua Hin Manta Rays in the Thailand TEBA League. The 6'1 British guard commented "Excited to be joining the Flyers. I like the intensity and the style of basketball coach wants us to
play, and I'm excited about what the team is building. I'm looking forward to competing hard, bringing energy on both ends of the floor and doing whatever I can to help us win games."
We are very lucky to bring Taiwo to Bristol Flyers. He is an experienced professional player who
can contribute through his quickness, vision and intensity.

"Excited to get back to work with the team and do whatever it takes to achieve our goals."
We are thrilled to have Callum back at Flyers after some time away from basketball.
He is part of our family having come through the SGS academy and the junior program. He was crucial in developing the program to the point where we were ready for promotion to the BCB level and we look forward to him taking on the challenge of the league.
