But thanks @TrueVC10derness, the record you cite looks solid enough! 👍

In Ian Colvin's book, Flight 777, a historian writes the opposite - hence my question!
A research question for my next book! Hopefully someone has the answer.🤞
BOAC Flight 777 (June 1943) was shot down, killing actor Leslie Howard & others. Which base did the Nazi fighters come from? My research suggests 2 names: Bordeaux & Kerhouin- Bastard. Which is correct?
They say never work with animals or children! As #BOAC cabin crew, we did it all the time! Buy not necessarily with lion cubs!
Putin doing his best to have a war with NATO!

Two F-16AM Fighting Falcons with the Romanian Air Force were scrambled early Thursday to investigate an unidentified naval surface drone spotted near the Neptun Deep Project, a major European offshore natural gas field off the coast of Romania in the Black Sea.
On approach, the drone - believed to be of Russian origin - was determined to be an active threat, with one of the F-16s using its M61A1 Vulcan Six-Barrel Gatling Gun to target and destroy the explosive-laden surface drone, roughly 80NM east of the Romanian Black Sea coastal city of Constanța.
Romanian President Nicușor Dan blamed the incident on Russia, stating in a post online: “I strongly condemn the intensification of these types of irresponsible incidents on the part of the Russian Federation.” While European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen described it as part of an “escalating campaign of threats” against the European Union.

This is why I’m paranoid about selecting the channel my microphone will go out on, and whether or not my interphone is engaged.
You can get a “stuck mike”, where the button that allows your microphone to go out on whatever channel you’ve selected doesn’t release & keeps sending your microphone out after you let go of the button / trigger.
Just a whole lot of opportunity for embarrassment.
I never make a PA using my headset. There is a microphone on the center console that only goes to the cabin PA system, so it the only thing I ever use to make PAs.
Not that I talk that way about FAs or anything, but this kind of thing happens with some frequency & I’d like to be sure it doesn’t happen to me.

Andy Burnham wants the country to help abolish rough sleeping. Great idea, but how about first stopping the boats and providing them with accommodation?
