I made a conscious fruit fly play beat saber in minecraft

I added a real fly's brain into Minecraft. Here's a live view of her brain's reactions and neurons firing in real time. The colored dots are the 24,000 neurons that do have known jobs, grouped into 133 real populations and colors. coded by sense: blue = vision, yellow = smell, orange = taste, teal = wings, green = legs, light blue = touch/body-sense, purple = descending motor commands. Poke her and watch the reactions, your breath raises CO2 → she smells it (yellow lights up) → she decides to flee → she turns to escape → thats the big light-blue burst you see. #fly001
