Some of the cadets from the Houston Wing visited The 1940 Air Terminal Museum today at the William P. Hobby Airport. This museum features an aircraft that should look familiar. What aircraft does this remind you of? 😉

What better way to "rock" a #MustangMonday than with Tuskegee Airman Thomas Bristow? We were honored to fly him in Airbase Georgia's Mustang as part of Atlanta's Juneteenth celebration!

Here's a #ThrowbackThursday to Rocky MT Wing's 2017 Open House with TBM 309 and a couple of re-enactors. Though the Navy never used female pilots in WWII, there were plenty of WAVES trained in aircraft maintenance and related aviation jobs. Do you know what WAVES stood for?

Fun times at @FlyNaec from PD on Monday! We did a simulation of the American home front during WW2. @JagersKass and I were put in charge of the bank for our town. My counting coins skills were RUSTY. 😂 It was fun to have a role that felt important to a bigger effort!

So much fun! @FlyNaec was an incredible experience and a reminder that we learn best by doing. The home front simulation was a blast and a great way to learn about the human experience of WWII on the home front. Thank you @MrsHutchPISD for such a great day of learning.
