I joined Jambojet, aviation and tourism stakeholders, and distinguished guests at JKIA for the official launch of the airline’s return of the Nairobi–Entebbe flight, marking a comeback of this important route.
Uganda is an important source market and a valued tourism partner for Kenya. It remains Kenya's leading regional source market for tourism, contributing over 200,000 visitors in 2025.

One daily flight connects Nairobi and Entebbe, but the opportunities created by that connection extend much further, strengthening regional ties and opening more possibilities for trade, tourism, investment and people-to-people connections.
Today marks another step towards a more connected East Africa.
