The threat of China's plans to explore the Moon is about to become very, very real.

NASA is aware of the anomaly that occurred tonight at Launch Complex 36 involving Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Spaceflight is unforgiving, and developing new heavy-lift launch capability is extraordinarily difficult. We will work with our partners to support a thorough investigation of this anomaly, assess near-term mission impacts, and get back to launching rockets.
We will provide information on any impacts to the Artemis and Moon Base programs as it becomes available.

For 250 years, the American story has been defined by courage, discovery, and the unyielding pursuit of what lies beyond the known.
Tonight, that legacy ascended once more with power and purpose. Godspeed, Artemis II. 🇺🇸🚀

U.S. forces continue to eliminate threats presented by the Iranian regime, striking over 10,000 targets since the start of Operation Epic Fury.
NASA is advancing nuclear power and propulsion in space to accomplish President Trump’s national space objectives.
With SR-1 Freedom, launching in 2028, we will demonstrate nuclear electric propulsion and deliver SkyFall helicopters to Mars.
In collaboration with @Energy, these capabilities are key to future missions to Mars and beyond.
A new chapter of deep space exploration begins. 🚀

These 5 spaceships should land on the Moon this year; several near the South Pole, with rovers/hoppers to explore that little-known, always sunny, water-rich region. In order:
- @blueorigin's MK1
- @Int_Machines' IM-3
- @astrobotic's Griffin-1
- China's Chang'e 7
- @FireflySpace's Blue Ghost

.@POTUS created the Artemis program to be more than a single mission or vehicle. It’s the foundation for mankind’s return to the Moon. We’re going back, we’re going to learn, and we’re going to advance the architecture needed to build a sustainable lunar presence for years to come.

This is the kind of robotics progress I pay attention to.
Toyota introduced Walk Me, a walking wheelchair that moves on mechanical legs instead of wheels. It can climb stairs, handle rough terrain, and adapt to environments that were never designed to be accessible.
The point is independence. Getting from A to B without asking the world to be perfectly flat.
I have long believed robotics will not be about humanoids.
It will be about task shaped machines, designed around real human constraints.
Walk Me is a good example of that shift.
So here is the question.
If robots are shaped by tasks, not appearances, what should we design next?

Being a multi-award-winning artist from Brisbane, I thought it would be fun to share my concept on what a Brisbane 2032 Olympic stadium could look like.
Specs:
* Overlapping boomerangs form a fixed roof canopy suspended over an asymmetrical stadium.
* When seen from above and the front elevation, the overlapping roof structure also forms the shape of Australia.
