Sooner or later you will be desperately clambering for a return ticket to a sold out @mincemeatlive. Do yourself a favour and book it now. You’ll still be trying to get that return ticket, because you’ll want to see it again, but you’ll have bragging rights for having seen it.
London folk, another theatre recommendation: @shittheatre Drink Rum with Expats. I saw this back in 2019 but it’s back at the Soho Theatre for 1 week & deserves your attention. You’ll laugh until you cry, & you’ll question everything you take for granted, & you’ll cry some more.

(Also it’s only 75 minutes long and when you’re as exhausted as I am right now, any theatre that ends before 9pm automatically gets extra points)

Replying to @spitlip
@spitlip I know you’ve changed plenty of the show and for various reasons, but I’m curious - why does Charles now discover a new kind of trout rather than the shrew? And - is the fact it’s now a trout a reference to MI5’s 1939 trout memo?

@spitlip Follow up question- is Steve called Steve as a nod to the fact that’s what Ewen Montagu called his car? As you can see, I’m concerned with only the most important of details here 😂
TIL Ivor Montagu was the founder of the International Table Tennis Federation, and I’m incredibly disappointed that doesn’t feature in the glitzy finale of @mincemeatlive
I have no free time to go again and I’m devastated so please, London people, go on my behalf. Laugh a lot and cry a lot and fall in love with the entire cast, and it’ll be just like I was there 😂 Do yourself a favour and see the best show London currently has to offer.
Good afternoon you beauties, we’ve got THREE WEEKS remaining of @mincemeatlive (hooray) and tickets are starting to look scant for most shows (hooray)- so get in your bookings and let’s win a war (hoorayyyyyyyyyyy
Surely if the show is so good the standing ovation starts before it’s even over, you know you’ve got a hit? @mincemeatlive @spitlip 🤔😂

This is still the best show in town and was 100% worth skipping out on another show to see again. The lyrics and vocals are stunning, but it’s the subtle moments of emotion from the cast that knock the air out of your lungs. Montagu’s ‘who knows’ in the finale… 😭 HE’S CHANGED

I’ve seen a lot of “People are dying 🙄” in response to the upset the theatres are closing again. And they’re right. But that doesn’t minimise the pain of losing a job and watching our industry almost make it off it’s knees only to be slammed face first into the ground again.

The worst thing about living in London is people who don’t live there feeling the need to tell you how awful it is. – at Lewisham, London

Okay not a chance in hell now. Any way of giving these tickets to someone, if anyone wants to go? Better someone is there 😞
What am I going to miss most about Bare at The Vaults? Trying not to laugh at @DarraghCian taking two minutes to tie his shoe in Portrait of a Girl 😂

Want to watch me slowly go insane as I relive how much I hate PVC while making my Jane Seymour cosplay? (Also other cosplays will happening too, mostly musical theatre) instagram.com/p/B0ruJSJhWzp/
So I’ve had quite a few questions about my Anne Boleyn cosplay and since I’m now getting started on my next Queen, would anyone be interested in seeing a few blog posts that go over the most important steps that might be helpful to anyone else wanting to make a Six costume?

@sixthemusical obviously your decision if you decide not to run it anymore, but please get this taken down if it was a one and done thing! Some people made killer costumes today and were super disappointed
