“Some days it feels like Damian is the eldest brother.”

“Well— there you have it. But not to worry. The book’s been taken care of, thanks to Zee. But yeah…it definitely hasn’t felt like a year to me. Trying to wrap my head around that still.”

“If I told you it had something to do with another dimension and a magic book, would you believe me?”

“You’re not wrong. I just thought…Man, I was gone for more than a year? That feels impossible.”

“It wasn’t supposed to take this long.”

“What?! No way it’s been that long! …Has it?” Hand flies to his forehead. “Damian, I…”

He chuckles and releases Damian. “You don’t have to be sick for me to stay.” “…I am sorry for being gone for so long.”

“Are you sick? Perhaps we should call Alfred! Or the hospital! What’s the point of wearing that cape and hood if you still catch a cold? Let me check your temperature.” Instead of feeling his forehead, it’s a noogie instead.

"Yeah, I'm surprised I'm not dead either."

“You would not believe the amount of laundry I have to do.”

“Wow, love what you’ve guys done to the place.”

“Hold on. Was that a sniffle I heard at the end of ‘please’?”

“…SPYRAL would be so disappointed in me.”

He fakes a large yawn and reclines on the couch. “I’m so...drowsy...”

“Oh, just precious time to spend with you,” he grins cheekily.
