Another quiet night behind the rods, still what a way to spend time.

A welcome arrival at 3am, not the biggest or prettiest, but a first carp from a new water is always a joy.

Another night under the stars.

Spending my evening snurgled away in a quiet corner.

New season. New syndicate. Can’t wait to get to know this lake better.

My first trip flyfishing for a very long time. Nice for this little fella to oblige 3rd cast.

No fishing for me this holiday, but some pretty great adventures.

A winter 48hr social at the impressive Orchid lakes. Tough conditions left the nets empty, but a great chance to learn more about this famous water.

Done my 1st ever 48hr session and it was awesome. 5 beautiful fish, great battles and great social with my mates in a great location.
The first 24hr session of the year and what a session! 2 beautiful Mirror carp. 18.5lb and 20lb. PVA bags working their magic.
Fished the impressive Orchid lakes for 24hours yesterday. Took a lot of effort to find some spots in amongst all the weed. Unfortunately to no avail, but a great time had none the less. Sad to hear the fishery will be closed for the winter. 🤞🏻it reopens as before in the spring.
A fantastic summer social at Theale Island lake. A blank for me 😢 but my brother cleaned up with some great looking fish. Well fished bro!
A great 24 hour session at Creedy lakes with my bro. A 1:30am wake up call from a 28lb 8Oz common who put up a massive fight. After managing to keep him out of the snags he finally went in the net. Backed up with another common on the other rod. Very happy with a hard earned PB.
With the sweltering temps, I decided to just fish the night at Theale. Such a beautiful place to spend a night under the stars. Had a take at 7am and a good battle, got the fish and was just about to net it when the quick change swivel snapped 😭
Doubled up with my bro for 24hrs on Big Hayes at Todber Manor. Great venue, sussed it out after a few tweaks to rig and hookbait and location. Mine went 23lb and Lew’s went 21lb 😁

A stunning day at the beautiful Theale fishery.
Time to test out the new rod, reel and line. Nice of the pike to pop up and say hello, as close as I got to a fish today.
