Just down I-45 from our largest crew base at IAH lies Galveston, Texas — where Juneteenth began on June 19, 1865, when freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in the country.
A little over an hour from where our Houston C5 Family reports for work every day, history was made. Today, we honor it.
