youth is so fucking beautiful. i'm sitting here now, 58 years old, remembering my twenties, when i didn't think i was good-looking. but when i look at pictures of me and friends and girlfriends from then, i finally see that i was indeed beautiful...i just couldn't see it then because i was comparing myself to the guys who were considered good-looking in the 90's and i didn't look as good as them. kids, don't ever let your own self-doubt or self-criticism stop you from doing things that the beautiful people get to do. things like going out, dating someone, taking risks. go out and do it all, because you are the beautiful people.
