Perhaps you don’t know that a new era begins tomorrow. Tomorrow the rose of Venus is completed with its exact geometric alignment, a sacred moment for esotericism symbolizing the rebirth of light. The Venus Rose (also known as the Venus Flower or the Venus Pentagram) is a sacred geometric pattern that draws the planet Venus in the sky from Earth's perspective over an eight-year cycle Alchemy, where the Venusian rose symbolizes the culmination of the "Great Work" The Rose in Freemasonry: Symbolizes dawn, light, dawn, rebirth and immortality. Since 1926, every time Venus completed its eight-year cycle and created this specific petal in its retrograde version, it did so in the sign of Scorpio. This means that, collectively, humanity has been using this point on the star for exactly 100 years. The change of era: After a whole century of digging in the Scorpian shadows, the tip of this petal has receded enough to leave Scorpio. Future repetitions of this arm of the star will be formally born in the sign of Libra. That is why tomorrow's milestone is historic. We are witnessing the last "injection" of Scorpio consciousness in this Venusian cycle for our lives (the next one will not occur again in this sign until 2177).
If October 23 is the mathematical moment when Venus officially ceases to belong to the evening sky and passes into the morning sky. At the start of November: It becomes visible to the naked eye at low altitude just before dawn.

of which my lineage was never a part.
Charles Murray, in Coming Apart, on some of the characteristics of the "old money" WASPs, much of which has since disappeared as taxes, inflation, and spiritual ennui destroyed that group: "The subset of old-money millionaires did have something resembling a distinct culture. Besides living in a few select neighborhoods, they were concentrated in Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. They summered or wintered in a few select places such as Bar Harbor, Newport, and Palm Beach. They sent their children to a select set of prep schools and then to the Ivy League or the Seven Sisters. Within their enclaves, old-money America formed a distinct social group"

Vote for Vivek or vote for Communism.
At some point we have to be honest about the fact that we have so called Republicans telling people to vote for communist @amyactonoh over Hindu @VivekGRamaswamy because a lot of people on the right have been conditioned to irrationally hate Indians. Imagine voting for a communist just to reinforce your hatred of a brown Indian. I hope the people of Ohio vote for Vivek for Governor.

I like Vivek and I think he is super smart. Clearly he intimidates the crap out of intellectually inferior people.

Yes.
The word "marxism" means nothing to normal people. The word "bolshevik" means nothing to normal people. The term "red-green alliance" means absolutely nothing to normal people. Y'all need to step out of esoteric academia and take a marketing class. It's COMMUNISM.

✅Yes on 3
With all the experts and local government advocates talking about delaying property tax reform in favor of a "perfect policy" that might come along in the future, I haven't heard a single proposal or even basic framework that they'd support. Don't let them scare you away from voting Yes on Amendment 3 just so they can scare you again in two years if there are additional measures on the ballot.

These counties are already on life support - the State of Florida created a special designation for 29 of the 67 counties and refers to them as “Fiscally Constrained.” I’ve only been in the legislature for 4 years but I’m committed to making our tax system make sense for ALL Floridians and Amendment 3 is a HUGE step in the right direction!

These last six months feel like some kind of breathless void in the discourse. Most of the sharpest thinkers I know of appear to be on some kind of hiatus, or are depressed, or took a job somewhere, or are doing some kind of religious hermetic thing. Many are "going through the motions" and privately admit they are losing their direction. If you look at each person's life trajectory and whatever appears to have diminished their output as writers, artists, thinkers and so on, it all seems just personal on the surface: but I suspect it may actually be a broader kind of 'exhaustion'. Their personal difficulties in their work seem only to be manifestations of a much wider cultural exhaustion. We appear to be in a transitional era that goes on forever. Many have attempted to keep track of or to influence the general direction that culture is going in, and appeared to be doing so fairly well for a while. But by now, everyone who has attempted that task has been humbled deeply by a series of vague and inscrutable cultural shifts that have snuck in with quiet haste. The result has been total discombobulation and a wearying sense of empty instability. Nobody knows what is next, and nobody appears to be in a strong position to shape what comes next either. Our compasses are failing us. Meanwhile the publishing industry continues its spectacular death, reading itself is collapsing, and even the anthropological realities of what it means to be human are now in question. We've felt the "something's gotta give" feeling for so long that we are now numb, and any attempt at saying what will or could or might "give" now feels pointless. Building niche sideline underground IRL projects feels extraordinarily distant. Deep traditional religion appeals, but its logical endpoint is for each of us to shut up, withdraw, and embrace a life of silent devotion. And above all -- spectacle is now boring, redundant; the wider culture is tired of LOOKING and clicking and subscribing and so on. Writers are tired of marching to the 24/7 tempo of that environment as well. Burnout is the chief export of this system -- for author and reader alike. Whatever this is, it's clear to me that an era has very quietly ended and that whatever's "next" may not come at all, at least not for a long time yet.

God Alaska?
Today seems like a good day to make this declaration. I believe in God and God’s creation, which along with everything we see hear feel and know, God Alaska created mankind and He loves us. Nothing can replace God or God’s creation or mankind. There are lots of big ideas being discussed about the future and AI and labor and income, basically the future of mankind. But all of these things will only be allowed to go so far because nothing can replace God or creation or mankind. God won’t allow it because God is GOD. And He loves us, mankind.

Living an enchanted life means different things at different stages of the path. At first, the world seems mundane….you go to school, get a job, make money, buy things, do what you’re “supposed” to do. Then something begins to feel hollow or missing, and we go looking for more. We discover magick, meditation, gods, angels, spirits, hidden worlds, and reality suddenly becomes mysterious again. But if we keep going, eventually we discover that the forces we were searching for outside ourselves were within us all along. After this, the division between the spiritual world and the ordinary world begins to collapse. Then enchantment takes on an entirely different meaning. You return to the same world you once wanted to escape, only now you realize it was never mundane. You wash the floor with the same attention you would give to cleaning the body of God. You prepare food as an offering. You listen to another person as if the creator of the universe were speaking to you. The later stages of the path aren’t about finding more extraordinary experiences. The culmination of the path is about becoming completely intimate with ordinary life. You leave this world searching for the enchanted one, only to eventually discover that the enchantment was here all along. You just couldn’t see it yet.
