Basejump: A game Lego factory based on The Action Substrate. @basejumpxyz first appeared in the public eye on February 9 at the launch event of @aoTheCompute mainnet. For the #AO ecosystem, it feels somewhat unfamiliar. But in reality, this is a veteran project that migrated from @ethereum to AO (formerly known as Broadside @Broadside2037) 📜 Past History 2021-2022 was the era when NFTs exploded in popularity. Back then, crypto enthusiasts were constantly on @opensea, buying and selling images, and #Broadside was one of the trendsetters of that time. In November 2022, Broadside launched 7200 NFTs, with the highest sale price reaching 0.1 ETH, attracting over 2000 holders. Its NFT sales also followed the #CC0 protocol, granting holders full commercial copyright. 📖 A New Story After the Broadside team moved to AO, they embarked on a brand-new journey and proposed new concepts: 🔹The Action Substrate 🔹Hyperobjects The Action Substrate: This is a decentralized framework built on AO, supporting the creation and interoperability of sovereign worlds, games, game assets, and communities. Hyperobjects: The basic units within The Action Substrate, capable of representing game assets such as avatars, items, and environments. They can be experienced and used across different games and markets, offering interoperability and composability. It can be said that #Hyperobjects are an evolution and advancement of the #UDP (Universal Data Protocol) proposed by @samecwilliams, representing a more transcendent form of #NFT. 💸 ACTION Token The $ACTION token is the core token of The Action Substrate ecosystem. It can be used to pay related fees within the system, and holding or staking it grants certain privileges, similar to a “membership credential.” It can also be used for governance participation. Total supply of ACTION tokens: 10 billion 🔹75% allocated to the community to incentivize contributions, such as creating games and assets or running Action Figure nodes. 🔹20% allocated to the Action Substrate team members, advisors, and future partners. 🔹5% allocated to the #Basejump team. 🎮 Basejump: A “Lego Factory” for Game Creators This is the first app built on The Action Substrate and serves as a technical validation platform for the framework. It’s a “Lego factory” for game creators, a community-centric hub for game creation and experience. Basejump allows users to quickly create and publish assets and games. Users can design games without coding and attract players through mechanisms like #Play2Earn. 📝 Summary If @FusionFiPro aims to build a unified financial protocol (through the abstraction of notes + settlement processes)，The Broadside team aims to create a unified interoperability protocol for game assets and even arbitrary atomic assets (via the abstraction of The Action Substrate and Hyperobjects).
