President Trump finally signed the disaster declaration for Kerr County… THREE DAYS after the deadly floods began. 🧵
While families were drowning, homes were vanishing, and rescue crews begged for backup, Trump was radio silent. No FEMA. No federal help. Nothing. Just thoughts and prayers—and a Truth Social post.
Let’s be crystal clear:
FEMA can’t deploy full resources until that signature hits paper.
That means for 72 hours, local responders were left on their own, scrambling without the federal aid they desperately needed. [1–7]
No explanation.
No urgency.
No accountability.
Just another deadly delay from a man who spent more time blaming immigrants and waving Bibles than saving American lives.
This wasn’t just incompetence.
This was dereliction of duty—with a body count.
How many more Americans have to die waiting for a president who treats disaster declarations like a PR stunt?
He had one job. He did it late. And people are dead.
