Jenny Barringer-Simpson has been selected for induction into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame in recognition of her extraordinary career in XC and Track & Field. A three-time Olympian and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist in the 1,500m, Simpson made history as the first American woman to medal in the event. At Colorado, she captured 4️⃣ NCAA individual titles, set 6️⃣ NCAA records in 2009, and remains the only woman to break 4:00 in the collegiate 1,500m. For her extraordinary contributions and a career that rewrote the record books, Jenny Barringer-Simpson is being inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2027!
