The 38%+ difference between the 'fastest & slowest' scoring Premier Leagues in full, calculated by standard strike rate criteria of runs per 100 balls, makes for fascinating reading as it's not a straightforward north v south split across Premier Leagues

From boy to man and now heading towards ancient.
Following the discovery of a scorebook from his formative years, congrats to @flitwickferg who has passed 17,000 FCC runs, and up to no 3 on our all time run scorers roster
Onwards to 1,000 games

Sufficient points gained (just!) to avoid any relegations.
Whilst fielding 4 Sunday league teams sounds impressive, it comes with significant challenges and just maybe a rethink or two needed for 2027.
Player recruitment important, and willing captains, to ease the burden.
The final round of @BedsLeague matches today with some points still needed for both our 1s and 3s:
1s home ๐ก ๐ @southillcricket
2s away ๐ ๐ @harroldcc 1s
3s away ๐ ๐ @EatonBrayCC 1s

Not our finest day to end the Saturday season with all 4 teams coming second, three of them to the divisional winners so possibly to be expected.
Spirits raised by other results which have raised a smile. Playing in the big leagues isnโt for all..
Soon be April!
The 4s won the first two matches in RD11W but have been pretty desperate ever since!
Only one relegation place but we have slipped close to it. 8 points potentially needed today on Smithโs Meadow, against the undefeated champions.
Finish well team!
The 3s have had a strong first season in Div 6A after many promotions.
For many weeks going up again had chances but probably short of runs too often.
Off to Eaton Bray today where runs are always short! 75 vs 50 again anyone?! Or maybe another September Timms ๐ฏ
4th vs 8th
The 2s season has performed in patches and been terrible in others!
It will be a 9th consecutive season in a competitive Div 2B, a decent level.
Today we welcome Tewin to THV as they will win the division and head up to 2A.
Win nowt without runs against their attack.
