I accidentally co-ordinated my carol book with my takeaway cup this morning. So here goes: Carol books as takeaway coffee cups, a thread. 100 Carols for Choirs: Pret. Ubiquitous, solid, you know what you're getting.

I miss Valentina & her kiosk. I miss her positivity & warm-heartedness. Valentina has been undergoing cancer treatment. To cheer her up I turned the Valentina’s Kiosk theme into a song & the legendary @BBCSingers have recorded it for her. Here is Valentina’s Song. @BBCRadio3

It is obviously infuriating when delivery drivers on electric bikes zoom past you unsafely on the pavement, but as this shows, they have to maintain an unachievable work rate to even remotely make a living. Blame the system, not the individuals.
I spent a week as a Deliveroo rider. And learnt a lot. First up, Deliveroo likes to claim you should earn at least the minimum wage of £11.44 while working. Me? I worked for 22hrs 50mins, rode 105 miles, did 27 drop offs and earned £120.38. That works out at £5.28 an hour🧵

Another exciting project wrapped up this morning, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it! For now, all we’ll say is that our upper voices had a marvellous time with composer @irene_buckley & @rte_co —and you’ll get to hear the finished product sometime soon on @RTElyricfm 🤫 – at Dublin City, Ireland

Haven't said too much about this because I wanted the composers to have a decent shot at getting the tickets first in a small venue, but there are a handful of seats left for TONIGHT at the 1901 Arts Club - would love to see some more friendly faces. 1901artsclub.com/3-apr-2024-…
