Salvage the Bones by Jesmyn Ward won a National Book Award in 2011. It tells the story of one family living in Mississippi just before Hurricane Katrina.
To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han is another student favorite. Read this romantic trilogy before you watch on Netflix!
