Morning 𝕏 ☕️
Huge congratulations to @creativemh on building her house in OriginForge Connect! 🏡❤️
I logged in to check a couple of things and got completely sidetracked when I randomly spotted Em casually strolling around her land. 😂
Only TWO more testers need to build their houses and then we'll officially have an estate!
Honestly, I'm so made up seeing people making themselves at home in a world that started as an idea in my head.
This is what it's all about. 🥹❤️
More bits for the “secret” project. Think I’m waiting on one more piece, which is key for sizing - so holding on for now
Who are you hoping to see win #Shipaton? Was there ever a shortlisted apps post @RevenueCat ? We could have a peoples choice pick from the shortlist
If I have tried your app to help during TestFlight, please remind me, if it’s free to try I will leave an honest review. I have 5 live apps and 3 of those have no reviews. No reviews means low search visibility.
Thanks @nthntrvls for the @applyra suggestion
Seeing Pauls post reminded me of this photo - who remembers seeing it

Morning tech team 👋
Hope you have a great day today!
Thanks so much for the positive responses to the Scootch video yesterday, I'm glad so many of you like the look of it! Was a bit nervous posting it, but I'm glad I did. 😄
Watch out for my next post as it'll be a thread with lots more info on the other features coming with Scootch too 👀
If you haven't yet joined the waitlist and you'd like to try it - go to getscootch.com. I'm sending the email out later today!
First proper look at Scootch! 👀
I've put together this demo video showing the very basics for Scootch:
pairing a Windows PC and a Linux laptop,
and hopping between them. 🪟👉🐧
There's much more to it than that though!
Mac works too btw 😉
Please let me know what you think.
(It's also the first time I've put myself on camera,
so go easy on me! I had a drastic haircut recently😅 )

My weekly humiliation ritual video series is still going
today it’s about 5 asks to get comfortable w/ rejection
1) ask for help
2) invite someone
3) ask someone to try what u made
4) ask for a collab
5) ask for an opportunity u want
ask clearly, let them answer! Go for it
Arrrrgggghhhh - I wondered if I needed a different size on the screenshots. Yep, I'd uploaded large and it needed medium - they got approved within the hour. Problem is I now have to submit a new version of the app just to get the screenshots in place 🤦♂️
Scootch is such a perfect name for this great utility 🎉

Still waiting for screenshot reviews, so reverted and submit the app. All done, still waiting on the screenshots 🙄

Sat on 968 followers right now, exactly 32 away from 1,000.
I set a goal to hit 1k last Sunday so I am running a bit behind schedule, but I reckon we can get it done today.
Any indie hackers and builders fancy connecting?
Who is pushing me over the line?
I'm proud of what I achieved as part of #Shipaton - I didn't win anything, but I did ship 3 apps in 2 months.
Not winning doesn't make me a loser it makes me a learner - thanks @RevenueCat - looking forward to next year

i built a tool to audit your Apple Developer Account
100% free & data stays in your browser
score < 8?
you might get terminated soon
activationpal.com/tools/app-…
i can't fucking stress this enough
spend this week securing your apple developer account
> remove low-performing apps
> keep one unique app per category (tracker/reminder/etc)
> remove all sketchy marketing tactics from onboarding & paywall
> reduce the number of version rejections
> decrease the number of new apps you launch
> update apps less frequent & write better review notes
i bet apple will do mass terminations in the next 3 months
becoming unterminatable is #1 priority
if you have 10 similar trackers and your paywall manipulates user, you risk losing your account in one moment
the moment your account is suspended
> you can't update apps
> your payouts are paused
> your communication with review team is deprioritized
there is <1% chance of recovering
i got lucky
you might not get the same chance
chose long-term game over short-term gains
