Also, the advice going around saying it's ok to not get beta readers for your work? Bad advice.
Being unwilling to have others critique your work when you wanna literally publish it for the whole world to do so tells me you don't like being edited & could be problematic

Querying works. End of day, it's the most dependable
Querying isn't always just a query. Many ask for some sample pgs and/or synopsis
