With protest, timing is everything, and so I don't really blame @RealDannyTommo and @TRobinsonNewEra for being so reserved. These things take time to build, and the temperature is not yet where it needs to be. The London jamborees had a certain utility, not least showing the wider public that the movement is not compromised of "far right thugs", and that is a necessary precursor to whatever comes next. So far, I think Tommo has done a good job in peacefully disrupting migrant landing operations. Yes, migrants were landed anyway, but there's only so much you can do without the necessary crowd mass. It has forced the authorities to fortify their operations and has put the RNLI on the back foot. I'd call that a success. As to what comes next, I have my own view on that. If there are to be more London demonstrations then there needs to be a mood shift. It can be roughly the same thing, but don't put on entertainments. It's a protest, not a street party. Any call to assembly should explicitly state "Do not bring children". That in itself sends a subtle message to authorities. Next time, though, there needs to be co-ordinated messaging. The placards should read "We're done asking nicely" and "We won't be asking next time", and the leaders of the movement should have a list of six specific demands as thus: 1. Stop the boats 2. Deport all illegals 3. Abolish ILR 4. Stop Islamic sectarianism 5. End two tier justice 6. Subscribe to Pete North's Substack (or whatever) Following that, protest should shift up a gear and move to Dover. It should be on a busy day when people are setting out on holiday. It doesn't have to be a blockade ort anything illegal. It just needs to put enough people on the streets to cause a major slow down and cause a nuisance. People are going to have to get used to inconvenience - because life will get a whole lot more inconvenient if we allow things to go on as they are. The subtle message to the authorities here is that the people can use their collective power to ensure that nothing comes in and nothing goes out of the port. Protests can wage psychological warfare by hinting at a thing without actually doing it. Beyond that, we should be looking at tactics similar to the fuel protests, and get lorry drivers to run a go-slow around the M25. We can cut off London for a day. Essentially, we have to learn how to peacefully and lawfully wage an economic war at a scale that overwhelms state capacity, creating diversions that spread the police too thin. I would also be thinking about protests at or near the major airports. You may believe this sounds a bit far-fetched and that we lack the capacity and support to pull this off, but things are changing. Just look at petrol prices. The cost of everything is going to go up, while living standards decline sharply, and a tone deaf government is making everything worse. We are already heading for widespread unrest. These economic and political conditions make it an inevitability. As such, it is for any patriotic movement to give it direction and leadership. In times of yore, the working classes would go on strike, bringing the factories to a standstill, but they no longer have that kind of power thanks to deindustrialisation, but we still have the means to create major disruptions. Since our votes no longer have meaning, and party politics is dead, we have to get more creative in expressing the democratic will. If the likes of Tommy Robinson won't do it then we need to find leaders who will. Shaprish.
