I've been working on simulating agentic management for fleets of solar-powered Flamingo compute nodes at sea. In this simulation, I've distributed 6 Flamingo nodes throughout the globe with agents that monitor power consumption and compute demand and can route jobs to different nodes based on optimal power and compute capacity. I've also added simulated weather patterns and storms to see how it could affect fleet management. Still needs a lot of work but the aim is to understand what operating a geographically distributed and energy-aware offshore compute network might actually look like.
