The Tesla situation and something to keep in mind: • Elon single-handedly smoothing out relations between China and the US while presumably paving the way for Tesla's expansion in Shanghai • Tesla continually opening the SuC network (Canada) to non-Tesla's and Ford partnership solidifying Tesla to the mainstream as the EV tech/infrastructure leader, potentially the first domino to fall and more OEM's to follow suit. FSD licensing more likely as Tesla/Ford work together and non-Tesla customers start to ask, "what else might Tesla be doing better?" • Model Y was the best selling car in the world in Q1 of any kind at a premium price point • Giga Mexico nearing groundbreaking to produce the vehicle that will most likely be the nail in the coffin for a few OEM's with another Gigafactory announcement likely coming later this year with Giga Nevada buildout for Semi production underway • Cybertruck production approaching which will vault Tesla back into the mainstream and across social media when customer videos surface • Tesla's FSD potentially nearing approval in global markets outside of North America -> higher take rates • Optimus making progress and 4680's and Megapack production scaling with Tesla methodically adding LFP, LFMP, M3P, Blade battery tech to broaden supply base/lower costs • Two new product unveils coming in the next 24 months set to do 5M units/year at scale • Dojo always progressing and Tesla hiring for large language model engineer A periodic reminder to zoom out and not fret over a few thousand deliveries here or a few margin bps there... The thing to keep in mind: most of these items are being given very little if any value when it comes to $TSLA right now. Patience will be rewarded and based on my circle of connections most people are still completely in the dark which only adds to the upside when all of this work Tesla is doing starts hitting the financials 🚀
