If they are dropping this next year… shouldn’t they already be filming?
The Russo Brothers say ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ starts filming very soon 🎥
"So soon it makes us sweat a little bit"
(via @Collider)
She’s going to be super important going forward I think.
Sadie Sink will return as Jean Grey in 'AVENGERS: SECRET WARS'
She will be the lead in the mutant saga of Phase 7. Her first appearance is 'SPIDERMAN: BRAND NEW DAY'. Then she will appear in 'AVENGERS: SECRET WARS' and 'X-MEN' films. After that, she will have 2 more films to appear. I heard she's gonna appear in another Avengers film 👀
I’ve heard nothing but positives about this movie, I’ve heard it’s not any of the things it was being reported to be. Instead it’s a fun campy He-Man movie that knows what it is and isn’t trying to subvert anything.
Jared Leto was purposely left out of the marketing for #MastersOfTheUniverse which was a huge mistake because he’s literally the most entertaining part about this film.
I feel like the marketing campaign could have really used Skeletor for a lot of bits, advertising and this would have been a unique make for market a film, kinda like a Deadpool.
Leto’s recent Box Office run and allegations aren’t the best mix for any film to do well.
The film isn’t tracking too good at the Box Office which is shame but the film just opened tonight Globally and you never know what cool happen
Solid watch and worth it for Skeletor alone.
Mando and Grogu will cost Jon and Dave their jobs. Josh is gonna clean house at Lucas. Star fighter will flop too simply because the sequel trilogy still exists. Could be the greatest movie ever made, but Rey is still cannon, so nobody will go see it.
There are no new Star Wars movies after Starfighter and no new live action shows after Ashoka 2. End the cope. The franchise is a flat dead. Disney has NO IDEA what to do with this today. NONE. Anything you’ve heard in the last two weeks online to the contrary is complete and utter bullshit.
Right now, it’s as dead as Stalin. The only thing keeping Star Wars on financial life support is Lego and it’s 99% classic Lucas / Pre-Disney licensing. Grogu doesnt sell anymore. Hasnt in 2-3 years. The movie was a total failure and complete humiliation. If they fired Dave Filoni tomorrow, it would be a day too late.
Yes there so happy it’s going to loose them around 300 million dollars…
#TheMandalorianAndGrogu VFX supervisor John Knoll is “pleased that this movie is mostly being received in the spirit intended”
“Jon wanted to do a kind of old-fashioned adventure. ‘Oh man, do I have to do a load of homework to enjoy this movie?’ No, it’s just sort of a fun adventure you can see without having done 40 hours of homework.”

It actually needs about 800m to break even. They omitted the salaries of Pedro, Weever, Filoni, Faverau, and Kennedy, then you have marketing costs, then you have theater share, then you have distribution share. When it’s all done, it’s about 800m to break even. And it won’t come close.
Brian Hansen retweeted
The Mandalorian & Grogu movie was made in order to remove the expense of The Mandalorian Season 4 off the Disney+ ledgers during the Walt Disney Company proxy fight with Nelson Peltz.
Bob Iger needed to hide the losses where nobody cared to look.
It's not that complicated.
Yeah that’s not why it’s gonna loose money, it’s lower budget is a lie, they omitted Filoni’s, Faveraus, Weevers, KKs and Pedro’s salaries to keep the budget lower and to get around it they called it a net budget. It’s going to do worse than solo and solo lost money because they abused fans so fans left.
Replying to @FixnFranchises @ThomasStorai
Not only is M&G on a lower budget, Solo was also pre-pandemic. They have been struggling to get people back to the cinema since then. It's improving but they still have a long way to go.
Maybe you should talk about the movie at hand.. ya know The Mandalorian and Grogu, you know the one where Grogu gets a overly specific antidote for an overly specific venom from a random tree guy in the middle of nowhere. Their plot armor was crazy thick.
This movie had no stakes, no consequences and is making no money.
Anyone who thinks there’s no stakes completely missed why Luke was sent to the swamps of Dagobah. And what the stakes are in the experiences and choices an Apprentice has to make.
And what of the stakes had a certain hallway full of clones not come to the end it did? If their creator has achieved his goal?
Wonderful film. Want many more like this.
Yea because having little to no stakes in a movie makes it so much fun and not boring at all.
That’s what I like out of my movies… lack of excitement or suspense.
One of the aspects of The Mandalorian & Grogu that I appreciated the most is that it was primarily focused on its main characters rather than having galaxy defining stakes once again.
It's honestly so awesome having a Star Wars movie with such low-stakes and that feels so small in scale. Makes the story feel all the more personal.
