Agreed. I didn't laugh at this one. These cars collect location, camera and audio data within reach of PRC law. Washington banned them for that reason. Then there's the damage to Canadian industry. Whether Ottawa was influenced by Beijing or is naive, the effect is the same.
If you were one of the people that laughed at Doug Ford calling them Chinese spy cars, you might want to think again.
