ALT Cownose A flapping tapestry, leathery pockets unstitch, become capes, pageantry. Ten thousand rays slot into chainmail. Waves of spearheads, gold teeth, shark scales; a fever, but without frenzy or fight. Instead, a slow procession, silently scooping water, nudging forward with snouts, not upturned in snobbish airs, but bovine benevolence. They are a festival of kites, tails swaying like strings. A trove of irregular coins, green and grey and gleaming. This is pilgrimage, the journey genetic: they follow ancestral urges home. I wish I knew what it means to be this certain.

🚨 UNDERCOVER: A few weeks ago I visited a salmon farm on the Faroe Islands– what I saw shocked me– it's an environmental and social disaster, it cannot go on.
Yet Bakkafrost in the UK are certified @rspcaassured– @RSPCA_official, do the right thing and drop the scheme 🎣🍣

Can @SharkWeek possibly get any worse? It's not sharks who are monstrous.
Weeks ago, a study dropped warning of huge crashes in deep sea sharks due to fishing.
Yesterday @SharkWeek posted a deep sea shark fishing ad in which a trophy spear fisherman caused an extremely slow-growing velvet dogfish to prematurely birth 2 pups who almost certainly died.

The sand tiger shark is a prohibited species in Massachusetts. A person who kills a sand tiger shark could be subject to a fine of $100 -$10,000.
