Bro, people have made a lot of money this year. i hope you join the winning league soon
IS MERCOR ODIN REALLY WORTH IT?
Yes, the tasks can be time-consuming when you factor in planning, checking guidelines, recording, uploading files, and making revisions after reviews.
But some people are earning well from the project, with payments reportedly reaching $100 per task, depending on the task and current terms.
The key is to read the guidelines carefully, follow instructions, and understand the approval criteria before starting.
As for completing everything in three hours, it may be possible once you develop a workflow, but it won't be realistic for everyone or every task.
My advice: Don't assume it's easy money, but don't dismiss it either. Understand the workload, payment structure, and approval process before deciding if it's worth your time.
What exactly is Project Octahedron?
Project Octahedron is a data annotation task where your job is to evaluate and rate AI responses based on the given instructions and criteria.
It’s not necessarily about solving difficult problems or trying to stump the AI. The focus is on assessing the quality of responses.
You need to understand what makes an AI response helpful, accurate, relevant, and appropriate for the prompt.
Understanding how to evaluate responses properly can make a real difference in how you approach the task.
Handshake is rolling out Project Octahedron to more accounts, and the pay is worth paying attention to. 👀
💰 Minimum rate: $18/hour
🇺🇸 US accounts get up to $40/hour
Basically, this project is focused on evaluating and rating AI responses based on the provided criteria.
It’s not about trying to stump the AI or making tasks unnecessarily difficult, like project Mark or Insight or Terminal Bench on outlier.
You need to understand the guidelines and know how to assess responses properly.
If you get invite to this project and you have access to the onboarding, take it seriously and study the instructions before you begin
The project has task and i believe it worths doing.

PROLIFIC UPDATE: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU DISPUTE A REJECTION?
Guys, if a researcher rejects your submission and you believe the rejection is unfair, don't panic! Prolific has a process for disputing rejections. 💯
Here's what you need to know. 👇
✅ 1. Submit a rejection dispute
Log in to Prolific, open the Help Centre, find “Why was my submission rejected,” and follow the bot's instructions to contact support and select Rejection Dispute.
✅ 2. Wait for the review
Prolific will assess your case against its rejection policy.
✅ 3. What happens if your dispute succeeds?
The rejection will be overturned, and your submission will be marked as returned. Returned submissions don't negatively affect your account standing.
⚠️ 4. What if your dispute is unsuccessful?
The rejection stands. According to Prolific's guidance, you can request another review only if you have new evidence to support your case.
💡 My advice: Always read study instructions carefully, keep relevant evidence, and communicate politely with researchers. If you believe a rejection is unfair, use the official dispute process instead of arguing.

there's another side to Project Odin that applicants should understand.
According to reports from some of my tasker's:
🔹 The work is paid per approved task, not simply by the hours spent.
🔹 Preparing an idea, pitching it, recording, and submitting can take several hours.
🔹 A proposed task may be rejected, potentially leaving you unpaid for that work.
🔹 Some contributors have reported confusing onboarding materials, changing instructions, and poor support.
🔹 Onboarding time may not be paid unless a project is ultimately approved, according to these reports.
One contributor also claimed that approximately 33,000 people were involved while around 900 tasks had been approved since July. Those figures haven't been independently verified, and they don't necessarily represent the percentage of contributors who get paid.
My takeaway: If you've received an offer, read the terms carefully, confirm the deadline, understand the approval process, and calculate whether the potential payment is worth the time involved.
Getting an offer is exciting, but make sure you understand what you're signing up for before investing hours into the project.
