Aaron Glenn was fined 250 THOUSAND DOLLARS by the NFL for conduct towards the referees. The price of a generational meme 😭😭

Underrated life advice: Have more hobbies & fewer opinions. Learn an instrument. Plant a garden. Build something with your hands. Cook. Paint. Run. The happiest people I know spend less time debating life and more time actually living it.

It’s genuinely jarring to hear a pro athlete talk like a person and not a hostage reading a statement prepared by the comms department
Yaxel Lenderborg on his NBA debut and guarding Luka: "I got to see what the NBA is like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the ref. Interesting first game for me... Being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect. That was awful"

"Yeah, it was interesting. I got to see what the NBA is like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the ref. Interesting first game for me, for sure.
I had a lot of respect for him (Luka). You know, just watching. I didn't really watch the NBA much, I just watched highlights. Seeing him, you know, kill people all the time. But then being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect, man. Like that was awful.
Like me getting frustrated, it's not about the foul being called, it's about him complaining the entire game. And then you get the foul call, congratulations bro. And then you talk to me like you did something great, bro? Come on, dog. That's just weak. It kinda threw me off for a little while, cause you know, like I said, I had so much respect for him. Gone man, gone.
I was telling him he sucks, he can't score on me. You talking and you can't score on me. I said it the whole game. I said a couple cuss words obviously, you know, that's why I got the technical and all that. But I was letting him know, because he was laughing and talking all this because of that one foul call.
His only bucket on me was a banker from half court. Like I know that it's a team sport. You know, he had 28pts on us as a team. Me, I took my matchup personally. Tried not to get caught on the fouls. Tried my best. I was thinking about playing him with my hands behind my back to see if that worked, probably would've still got a foul call."

Unfortunately Melo’s mindset towards the game limited who he was in my opinion. The lack of sacrifice even as a star. The non commitment to make others better. The lack of application defensively. The acceptance of regression as he aged and his role needing to change. It was just never there. One of the best watches ever but it’s a sad truth about his career.
Carmelo Anthony on why he didn’t want to be a role player later in his career:
“I can’t take a Taj Gibson role and I respect somebody like Taj Gibson to the utmost. But for me to take that role, no, I’m not that’s not who I am. I can’t accept that. I don’t want to accept that role. And then I don’t have to accept that role, I’m not going to accept that role.”
That’s definitely got to be hard for guys that have been a superstar their whole career to just get to the end and accept that and change how they play to be a role player.

I’ll say it again.

No making 40 million a year and being home only 2% of the time at best is good REASONING to rarely change a diaper. This is a millionaire with nanny’s and chefs, stop pretending his wife is destitute and mistreated 💀💀💀💀🤡🤡🤡🤡

Making $40M a year exempts you from being a father and fulfilling your duties….? Ok

The older I get though, the more i understand why we genuinely need people like that for a functioning society. We need people that make a big deal over rules and order. We need people that care a lot and make a big deal over "nothing".

GTA6 will be the last human created project that brings people together to be hyped for one thing. It feels like the grand closing chapter in gaming for a lot of us who have been at it since the PS1 days. It feels like a very "this it it, won't be anything post it" moment.
‘GTA 6’ could cost the U.S. economy $1 billion in lost productivity.
An estimated 1.5 million workers could call out sick or take the day off to play the game when it drops on Nov. 19.

I really miss when a new artist comes out, shocks the world with their music, and is able to remain relevant and make good music for the next decade. Artists nowadays make 2 hit singles, one good feature, an album that doesn’t live up to the hype, and fall off directly after

As a person who loves to travel (I literally just got a job with an airline for the travel benefits), tweets like this is why others hate you travel snobs. It's a fun way to spend my time, but it doesn't mean I'm more enlightened, and it's not more "real" than another hobby
