Advocacy has always been a part of my role as a leader. 💪
Today, I am supporting fellow executives and founders with The CLARITY Act:
1. Innovation = economic opportunity = jobs.
We have already lost innovation and capital in this space to other countries — Singapore, Thailand, India, UAE, Kenya, France, Argentina. I personally know this from my own visits or my colleagues there. While some things are country-specific, global brands and teams can still be based in the US, if they are incentivized to stay. ♾️
2. Digital Asset builders should be free to lead and support this technology in the US.
If the US is truly a global financial leader, then we should be leading the way and setting standards for the digital asset transformation as well. ⛓️💥
3. Consumers also need protections, because if people don’t trust the tech they won’t use it. The industry (especially in the US) needs support to onboard users — whether you are a startup or an institution. 🛡️
In true Detroit style, let’s “keep it moving”!⚡️
