Still the best Cassian Andor edit. Tears every time and it nails the Maarva & Bix parallels. . @SWFT_Edits you’re a genius.

plz stop showing me these clips of Tony Gilroy elegantly talking about empires, fascism, and revolutions.. I can’t handle the whiplash of going from Andor to Star Wars made by the Deadpool guy :(

Andor writing is fr a masterpiece because the characters speak with no-bullshit natural stripped down dialogue the way people speak in real life but then they also hit you with like 20+ quotes throughout the show that feel like being shot in the chest with a bazooka

So simple, so beautiful, so devastating, so hopeful.
I won't have peace. I'll be worried about you all the time. / That's just love. Nothing you can do about that.

How the fuck can Disney justify such a price hike when their output is so piss-poor?

Tony’s lows are not as low as George’s lows. Give me a fucking break.
The discourse over this is insanely funny to me because everyone's going "um have you seen Mon Mothma???" Yeah, that's not misogyny. This is about the misogyny. This is the Lows. George's lows aren't as low as Tony's lows.

There was an entire episode dedicated to show why Luthen *wasnt* the driving force behind their operation… I know its hard to not have a show spell out its themes and ideas constantly but you have to actually pay attention. Try that next time!
Replying to @ironcrakka
Outside a few good scenes Mon was wasted. She was turned into Luthen’s second fiddle. She was important but Luthen was more important. He was main driving force behind the operation and she always needed him to protect/save her and convince her to do stuff

Star Wars doesn’t need to be confined to the four walls you’ve constructed in your head. That was why George sold it, so others could play in the sandpit.
A problem with Andor fans is that they think Star Wars is only a gritty political drama but in reality it’s a sci-fi fantasy where some of its cast can go on some random bullshit adventure

4 years since the release of this masterpiece of a television series. Tony Gilroy and team delivered one of the most important anti-fascist pieces of art in the modern era. Andor’s legacy goes beyond Star Wars, and it’s only just begun.

a problem with fans like you is that you try to shove Star Wars into a box, when there’s an entire galaxy worth of different kinds of stories to tell with different tones, and Andor is proof of that

Literally the heart of the show!! I swear, no one reduces the characters of these women more often than the people who claim sexism.
“The five women at the end of Andor are really what the show is all about… it’s the victory, it’s the pain, it’s the life these five women have had that ultimately gives the show its ultimate punch”. - Tony Gilroy

Where is this idea coming from? He created ONE Star Wars show and now all of a sudden he can’t imagine women/aliens being the main character? Yes the titular character was a man but let’s not act like Mon Mothma wasnt given a HUGE spotlight. She was practically half the show.+

Tony Gilroy would never have given us Ahsoka Tano because he kinda sucks and can’t imagine women or aliens being the main character
