The Gold Hill Town Meeting organization recently expressed their gratitude to the Sheriff’s Office for deploying our Compact Rapid Deployable (CRD) powered by FirstNet on March 11th. This deployable cell tower was set up quickly by the Support Services Division to provide 911 access to area visitors and residents of the Gold Hill community during a communication outage.   The CRD can be deployed by a single person within minutes, providing reliable coverage anywhere it's needed. It ensures connectivity even in remote areas where traditional service is unavailable. It allows cellular 911 access for everyone and it provides full cellular connectivity for first responders on the FirstNet network where deployed.   The Chair of the Gold Hill Town Meeting acknowledged how crucial this support was, especially when communication from other providers was difficult. The CRD's ability to restore 911 connectivity in the community during this outage was greatly appreciated, and the Sheriff's Office’s efforts were recognized as vital in maintaining communication in challenging conditions.   Gold Hill residents continue to work on finding more consistent solutions to connectivity issues in the mountains, and we are proud to play a part in providing immediate support when it's needed most.   #CommunitySupport #StayConnected
