Too often, women and girls are told to stay quiet, block it, or log off.
We're asking them to help change digital spaces instead.

Penny reported. Waited three years for court. He got 13 years. She lost her business, her home, her world.
Support isn't what comes after justice. It's what makes justice possible.

You may have already seen that all appointments for the Swindon & Wiltshire Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) are temporarily taking place at Hope House in Gloucestershire while the Swindon site undergoes improvement works.
- All services remain fully available
- Referral routes and contact numbers are unchanged
- Travel to appointments will be arranged and funded
- You will see the same team of professionals for continuity wherever possible
- Alternative locations can be provided if Gloucester is not suitable, including Bristol, Bournemouth and Devon & Cornwall.
We've answered some of the most common questions, including what the changes mean for those accessing support.

“They’re always like that.”
The constant put-downs.
The sexual comments passed off as jokes.
The harassment that gets brushed aside.
Just because it happens all the time…
doesn’t mean it’s harmless.
And it doesn’t make it okay.

Today we stand together to #BlowTheWhistle.
When something isnʼt right, in relationships, at home, at work, or in our communities,
WE STOP.
WE NOTICE.
WE ACT.
WE DONʼT LOOK AWAY.
Play your part. Call out abuse. Blow the whistle.
We want to say a huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers.
From our domestic abuse volunteer mentors to our fundraisers, charity partners, and trustees, your time, compassion, and commitment are vital to everything we do.
Thank you.

We stand in solidarity with this work and with the urgent commitment to challenge antisemitism across our sector.
Everyone deserves to live free from hate, discrimination, and harm, and we are committed to creating inclusive, safe, and respectful spaces for all.
Proud that 80 leading organisations and leaders across the VAWG sector have signed an open letter led by Jewish Women’s Aid, standing in solidarity with the Jewish community and condemning rising antisemitism.

A huge thank you to BBC Spotlight for inviting First Light to share our concerns about self-test rape kits, and why the responsibility to collect evidence should never be placed on someone who has experienced sexual assault.
