It has been the honor of our lifetimes to serve as your 73rd Governor and First Lady.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you, Virginia.
-- Ralph and Pam
What an incredible honor and privilege it's been to serve as First Lady. Four years ago I said we'd work to make a difference in the lives of children. Now, thousands more children have access to quality early learning programs, a launchpad to success in school and beyond. 🚀
I'm humbled and grateful beyond measure for the many heroes I've come to know working courageously for a better world for our children, especially during these last difficult years...
All built on the work of @DSMcAuliffe, Deputy @Heidi_Hertz_VA and many others. Thank you @FeedMoreInc for being a trusted and reliable leader in ending hunger in Virginia!

Thank you @GovernorVA @FirstLadyVA @AgForestryVA! (6/6)
And that includes doubling our state Pre-K investment to provide a record 25,000 slots for 3 and 4 year olds. Four years later, Virginia is providing more opportunities for families with Little Learners than ever before! 🚀
For the past four years we have increased our investments in K-12 education. We’ve put historic amounts of support into at-risk students. We’ve raised teacher salaries more than 10 percent, the largest increase in 15 years. #VASOTC

Since 2018 Virginia has expanded public Pre-K and Child Care Subsidy programs to record levels. Today, @GovernorVA announces another $78 million in state funding to provide world class early learning opportunities to thousands of additional families and their little learners.
In addition, @GovernorVA's outgoing budget includes over $147 million in new federal Child Care Development Fund dollars. More families than ever before are currently eligible for quality, affordable options. Visit ChildCareVA.com to learn more and apply!
In 2020, @GovernorVA expanded public Pre-k to thousands of 3-year-olds for the first time statewide. Divisions like Arlington led the way by funding 2 years of quality Pre-k early on. Thank you for introducing @BarbaraFavola, @Lopez4VA, and me to your little learners today!
Thank you @FirstLadyVA for visiting @MPSArlington this morning to see the incredible work of our students at Virginia's first-ever stand-alone public Montessori school. @SuptDuran @Monique4APS @BarbaraKanninen
We could not have expanded Pre-K to a record 25,000+ three and four year olds without established local partners. @FRIENDSrva in Richmond is celebrating 150 years of serving Virginia children and families!
Virginia has also expanded child care access to more families than ever before with 27,000 children now participating. Sign up today at ChildCareVA.com!

Today, @GovernorVA and @FirstLadyVA came to @GAHS_Official for their Thank You, VA tour.
They’re ending their term as they started, focusing on education. From expanding pre-k to investing in k12, counselors, and teachers to G3, they’ve done right by our kids and our future!
