.@FirstLadyNJ’s work on maternal health, along with advocates across the state, has set us up to be a state that has better outcomes for every mother and child. As a mom of four kids myself, I am committed to building on this progress so that all mothers, especially Black women, have a safer and healthier experience giving birth. I was grateful to join Nurture NJ’s conference this morning — but most importantly, I'm grateful for the essential work that the healthcare workers, advocates, midwives, and doulas in the room are doing every day to advance this cause.
