We analysed a year’s worth of public messages from 5 of the world’s biggest oil companies - BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, & TotalEnergies.
On average, 60% contained at least one 'green' claim.
Yet just 12% of their CapEx budget is forecast to go to 'low carbon' energy.
