I've driven in a decent number of American cities by now and while some are bad or frustrating to drive in (LA, Toronto, Pittsburgh, San Francisco) so far only Chicago has had me getting annoyed purely at the drivers themselves. Truly unique bad behavior in that city.
It feels impossible now but back in 2013 I think a plurality of competitive smashers would have told you that the fate of the scene was inevitably everyone playing PM. The double whammy of Melee at Evo and Smash 4 was honestly the only thing big enough to change that future.
The bitterness of PM diehards makes total sense in that context I mean to them they had invested in the future of the scene in good faith and saw it ripped away by circumstances beyond their control.
Last night I made Jamaican brown stew chicken with rice and peas for dinner. I went light on the pepper for the sake of my wife but I can really tell it's asking for heat so next time I'll see how much I can dial up the spice. Pretty great taste though.
Looking forward to the utterly insane revisionist history that people will invent about this game in order to hate on the FGC and how we "could have made it" if we just kept going all in on Two Ecks Kay Oh
