2, Many lessons learned over the last few months one on the main ones being some see Twitter not as a tool to engage and socialise but to take their anger out on the world thant i dont always need to be other peoples mouth piece when issuses arise

No Ella what is insulting is that despite the first woman joining us in 1982 people see firefighting as a man’s job. Women see policing as more achievable than firefighting. There must be a reason & one of those is the media’s stereotypical view of the fire service.

Seriously this is such an insulting thing to say about women - we’re so weak willed that unless we see ourselves represented we won’t be able to achieve. We’ve got no agency - we can’t do anything unless we’re shown we can do it.

Oh shut up, if I was being rescued by a firefighter, I would want a man with muscles, they are naturally stronger, that's just how it is.
