In the early 20th century, the area in and around where @LincolnCenter resides today was known by another name: San Juan Hill. My new film traces that neighborhood’s rise and fall — and celebrates the people, arts, and culture whose enduring legacy still resonates today.

I encourage Minneapolis to watch this film, set in the midst of our lived experience and the Minneapolis Police killing of Amir Locke. You get an opportunity to hear from his family in own words which is important enough. You also are given this history that confronts us daily.
