This angle of Man City's opener tonight really does show how embarrassing of support that club has...
There is more empty seats, than filled ones, on a Champions League night.. 🫣

There was something special about being a kid when adults didn't feel the need to entertain you every minute of the day.
Your parents could take you somewhere incredibly boring, and you were just expected to deal with it.
The bank. The hardware store. Your mother's friend's house, where you sat on a couch covered in plastic and weren't allowed to touch anything.
Nobody handed you a screen. Nobody worried about whether you were having fun.
You studied the wallpaper. You read the same magazine three times. You stared at the clock and wondered if the second hand had stopped moving.
And if you made the mistake of asking, "Can we go now?" your mother gave you that look.
You know the look.
The one that could end your entire afternoon without a single word being spoken.
I swear, we developed half our imagination simply because our parents refused to entertain us.
Looking back, I think being bored was one of the best things that ever happened to us.

Before an away game always worth looking at the results other big teams had at this ground. City and Liverpool won 1-0 at Forest with late goals last season. There were only three likely results for this game. 1-0. 0-0. 0-1. Good to know what to expect to save yourself anger and frustration during the game 🙂
Opposition fans are more pissed off at how we play than our own fans. I'm glad we piss you off. I'm glad you are hate-watching every week, and when we win, it hurts you so much.
We are not here to entertain you. We used to play some of the best football this league has ever seen, but won nothing. We would barely make the top four. You all loved us then. You all loved the fact that you could mock us and treat us like some little kids. Ahhhh, well done for trying, lads, better luck next time.
Save your tears because I couldn't give a fuck. I hope we continue to bore the life out of you. 10 wins in our opening 11 games this season, and long may it continue.
